VOLUNTEER TASKS
A comprehensive look at all the things a choir’s committee achieves, both during rehearsals, and in between. This is broken into the levels, which indicate how essential each task is for the choir to function.

Our network of volunteers are the life-blood of our choir communities. Across the With One Voice family, we have a range of different working models for volunteer committees (and in some case individuals). We have gathered some intel on the essential items, the desired items, and the highly functioning items.
DURING REHEARSAL
LEVEL 1 – ESSENTIAL
- Opening and closing the venue
- Setting up the room, tables and chairs
- Greeting members and visitors
- Recording attendance
- Handling Payments
- Relaying important information to members
- Managing member t-shirts
LEVEL 2: DESIRED
- Managing Member Name Tags
- Allocating ‘Buddies’ for visitors

- Responding to Emails (internal and external)

LEVEL 2: MONTHLY
- Watch and attend Volunteer Exchanges
- Promotional Activities
- Payment Approvals (franchise choirs only)
- Committee meetings with conductor
LEVEL 3: AS NEEDED
- Getting gigs
- T-shirt ordering
- Coordinating CA projects
- Liaising with CA Q
- Passing on member feedback and issues
- Funding / grant applications
- Incident reporting and exit surveys
